Enjoy a leisurely walk along a 2km looped trail at Wild Nephin Ballycroy National Park Visitor Centre. The trail is named after mythical giant Daithí Bán who built a fortress on Wild Nephin Ballycroy National Park’s tallest mountain, Corslieve.
Discover uninterrupted panoramic views of the Nephin Beg Mountain Range and Achill Island from a gently ascended Viewing Point.

Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail
Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way you will find a gentle walk (1.5km boardwalk) through Atlantic Blanket Bog and along a sheltered shoreline (1.5km +).
Enjoy stunning views views of Wild Nephin Ballycroy National Park to the east and Bellacragher Bay and Achill Island to the west. Listen for the calls of wading birds such as curlews and ringed plover and catch glimpses of otters and seals.

Wild Nephin
Explore this wild and remote area from the Robert Lloyd Praeger Centre in Letterkeen Woods. The bothy is a dry and secure shelter to overnight on the long distance Bangor Trail and Western Way and acts as a trailhead for waymarked hiking loops of 6km, 10km and 12km.
